    Thanks Ryan and John!
John, I know a brilliant engineer and rocket scientist like you will build an amazing rig.

Joey those are nice fans and I wish I'd known about them before I bought $100 of Noctuas. I have another one not quite seen on the right side panel blowing on the back of the board. Good ideas on the foam on the filter and for copper mesh Ryan.

    Steve,
The 800D's air flow issue has me leaning towards the 600T and I think it in silver would be an off the hook look !

It sucks that no one want chassis from Silverstone, I am alone

But that 600t looks like a nice chassis, And seems like you can over stock it with noctua's

The Silverstones and fantastic but face it not everyone has 6 bills to drop on a case no matter what design or construction. Even the 800d at almost 260usd pushes the envelope. The Li Lians are very nice and the newest BitFenix cases are cool. There are great choices all over the place and the Silverstones are serious cases without doubt.

Yeah I know very few people will think buying a chassis of those prices are a good idea, but there are people out there that buy custom made chassis that cost well over a 1000 $ just for a chassis, I think it depends on what you need it for, and how bad you want it. Personally I think it all depends on each persons own views. As for other chassis, you know I really like the NZXT chassis, the white ones look awesome. Then the lian li's are great too,but get discontinued to fast.

I want to pull the trigger on a new case and I want the best case for cable management, air flow and a more conservative outside style. I'm a bit surprised that the 800d doesn't have a version 2.0 out but I'm sure something is coming down the pike. I would like to see it with twin 140mm's in front and twin 140mm's in the side, with triple 140 or 120mm's top and a 140 rear. As well all intakes need pop off fine air filters. Additional point-able 120mm's inside the case to create a great air flow with maybe a pair of 80mm supplemental rear exhausts and a 80 mm rear cpu side panel intake would be like a dream case in aluminum and a nice clear side panel window all for under 280 usd's.

I've often wondered who designs these cases from all manufacturers. They really need to put 2 or 3 of us in a room and let us design one. I am willing to bet, it would be a killer case. I am fixing to buy something soon, and have looked at every case there is. Every one has some issues with it, most of which would be simple fixes, and most of which would cost them nothing, just design it a little different. You can't put front fans in the 800D without blocking the hot swap bays. And, yes, they are important to many people. But, they could design the bottom compartment to accomodate some good airflow into it. One 140mm intake fan is not going to cut it. It was designed with serious negative airflow, when most prefer positive airflow or like cleaning cases.

    Perfect case is easy.

Aluminum/steel HAF with removable and tilt mobo tray. Filters for side and front intake. Wheels for those who need them.
Bottom panel and rear panel steel for rigidity as they are now.
The main structual changes would be alumium side panels and moboard tray.

Maybe make it in a second version for those who don't need a full size case.

You can't beat the airflow in a HAF.

All the fans have filters now, the HAF X has wheels, and there is a mid tower HAF X, I own it.
