    My new Bulldozer has shipped.

I will be joining the ranks of the 8 core processor group. Got great advice from a fellow member here on which model to go with. Looking forward to maximizing my ram's potential and getting a nice overclock on this beast. From what I'm reading users are reporting fantastic results and this chip I just purchased for $10.00 less then my 965 cost back in the day and it was swinging deal. Please don't bore me with your anti-AMD thoughts or what benchmark you can quote as we should all hope that AMD stays a viable competitor to Intel or we'll face more increases in cost and corner cutting from them like we've just seen with Ivy Bridge.

Yeah, it does seem that the hardware expenditures of the "future proof" set is above us mere mortals.

    So much for future-proofing.

Brink will do. I'm always taking pictures and I'll be sure to post. This is as far as I can take my 890 mobo so it's all good. Got a staggeringly good price so it was time to pull the trigger.

OK it's in and running. Letting everything chill and then in a few days I'll start a push. Sitting pretty at 30-32c ! Also need to get my ram up to full speed @ 2133mhz.
