Follow the red arrows for the rest of the story, Hyper EVO cooler. Temps are from a 9 second run with IBT. It ran Prime for 7 minutes 14 seconds and produced an error and the temp hit 82C. But I DID hit 5GHz.
I'll hang the kahunas up now.
5ghz @ 99c Nice, You gonna try for 5.1ghz on your new Chip when you get it.

I have a 15C differential in my load temps. Does anyone else see this too? I've seen 10C before and this setup used to be that but for some reason it's increased.

I've always seen some differences, always with the one lowest and one highest always being the same core. I've always put this down to CPU cooler attachment. 15 is quite a spread, but the lowest is the abberation, the other 3 match. What happens if you(carefully) press down on the cooler while running the tests, do you get a drop across the other 3? If the temp of the 3 is acceptable, I think you are ok, and just have a "wonder core". A Guy

I haven't seen that much either. Both my 2500K and my 2600K have one core that runs about 10C cooler than the rest. But the other 3 cores run about the same.

Yup it's always the same core with the low temp while the others are real close. It's almost like the cool core doesn't work as hard, but task manager and resmon both show them all at 100%. I have gently twisted the CPU cooler while the stress tests run to even out the thermal material, Arctic Silver 5. This reduced temps over all about 6 degrees from initial install.
