Well after many tries I finally got something I like what do yall think? I also got around to doing my GPU.

I know temps are a lot higher then I wanted myself I was looking for about 55 but I know I will never push my CPU this high.

I'm waiting to see what comes out for the socket 1366 chipset replacement for the i7-900 series but I gotta say that i7-2600K looks mighty tempting on a Gigabyte board

So was I. But even the 1155 socket and potential clock speeds makes it look very appealing. My storage PC breathed it's last sigh the other day and this current build is a year old after all...

LOL I just picked up a i7-950 a few weeks ago.... but the force is strong with that 2600K system - Luke, you must resist

Man the price is so so tempting

Ha ha - that's usually the way. I built a strong 775 system 2 weeks before the release of 1366

Resist mate - you are at least in a very good position to wait for the invariable revisions, price drops and end-user feedback etc

Your i7-750 and my system are still by no means slouches of any kind whatsoever.

Figuratively and literally, we can afford to wait - hell, I'm even keeping my 5970 until it's 1st birthday*

    Damn you temptation.
