This may not seem impressive, but this CPU is a 2.8Ghz stock frequency and a locked multiplier. It is stable and a 33% overclock. I had to dial my 1600MHz RAM back a bit to 1472MHz but still have 7-8-7-24T timings.

That's really great. We have a new world record, set right here on Seven forums. It is actually 3 times the previous world record and the first 487W CPU I have ever seen.

Lol... I didn't even notice that. I saw the code name, technology and core speed, but not the TDP..

Got it to run a tidbit better, hit that 4GHz barrier. Not to stable with tests at this speed, but the PC runs.

Xbit Labs apparently got a stable 4.0GHz with the 1055T (link), but they had the core voltage a bit higher.. Depending on what temps you get, maybe an extra 0.05 or 0.1 volts would do the trick?

Either way, that is definitely a nice OC you got going there, especially considering stock is only 2.8..

Thanks Zalith, CPU-Z shows 1.488 there, but I have it set to 1.5V in BIOS. Core Temp says 1.33V

I have bumped it up a notch to 1.54V, hopefully it won't crash and burn. I saw one forum where a guy got it to 4.2 with some water cooling. I had already seen the same Xbit experiment, Essenbe linked me to it a few days ago and I've been looking all over for info. Problem with this #$%^&*(! mobo id I have no HT adjustment, it defaults to 10x of the FSB frquency.
