    First CPU overclock

Here is my first attempt at overclocking my CPU. I went from 3000 MHz to 3300 MHz and running smooth and cool.

That's the way Jimbo, slow, steady, and small increments. You may be able to get that chip around 3.7-3.8 GHz before it starts sweating.

I noticed when I OC my CPU it also changed my clock on my GPU...it went from 250 mhz to 500 mhz...is that normal and now it's running about 5 degrees hotter.

    Normally no.

However if you adjusted the PCI Express frequency (or the AMD equivalent) it might explain the rise in higher 2D powerstate setting though.

Nice tw33k, is this still the 1600 in your specs? Impsessive if so. How's the mobo doing, I've got my RMA back and will be installing over the next few days.

It's the same RAM but I raised the FSB to 250 so I could run the RAM at 2000MHz. The board is great. The main reason I got it was because of the LLC options and to be able to run RAM XMP profile and it does both brilliantly

Nice! Hopefully I will get my GSkill Sniper 1866 to go faster. Whenever I got my 1600 RAM much over 1656 it wouldn't boot due to overclocking on my Gigglebyte board.
    BTW, what is LLC?
