Is it safe to overclock my radeon hd 5670 with such configuration???

    Here is my PC configuration:
    processor:core 2 duo-4mb cash
    ram: 4GB
graphics card: ATi radeon hd 5670
    no cooling system available

lots of the games do net give good performance in high graphics configuration. Can i overclock my graphics card without no damage/problem to my card to have better performance....or will Auto Tuning be safe for my such configuration???
    please help me

Hello and welcome to the forums, single365!

Firstly, please fill up your systems specs properly by following this tutorial:-

System Info - See Your System Specs

Secondly, I would NOT, in good faith, advise that you overclock your system, especially if you do not have an adequate cooling system for it (like aftermarket coolers etc.).

You may cause irrepearrable damage to your system components, and given the age of your system, cause it to fail even more quickly.

With that being said, if you do insist on going down that path though, may i direct you to two excellent overclocking/monitoring utilities for AMD cards in Windows 7.

    MSI Afterburner (http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm)

    and

ATI Tray Tools download from Guru3D.com

Depending on whatever OC you could achieve, you'd be lucky to see an extra 5 or so FPS increase - so High settings might be beyond your reach anyway.

Unfortunately your specs are the reason 'lots of games' aren't performing well with high specs.

You're just going to have to lower some details. That's going to give you a more realistic performance improvement than a mild OC of your card.

And what do you mean by 'No cooling system available' - do you mean the card is passive - no fan?

or will Auto Tuning be safe for my such configuration???

    Would not touch it.
