Also take pictures as you go on both dis-assemble and re-assemble. Also note which sata plug on the mobo the primary "C" hard drive is plugged into and make sure that it's in the same plug when re-assembling. Leave the rest of the hard drives if any unplugged till the system boots into W7. Take your time and have another system available to post an issue here if you have a problem and also have a digital camera so you can take close up pictures if needed. Have fun and everything will look and perform better in the new case. If you don't get the wiring perfect the first time that's ok as well as I guarantee you are going to get the upgrade bug and when it bites it bites deep ! lol

Thank you for the advice guys, can't wait to get this done
Case will be delivered to me tomorrow (Thursday) so I will keep you posted with my progress. But in the meantime if there are any more tips you have for me then please go ahead and share

One question though, is it necessary to use the antistatic wrist band? I don't know where I put it last time lol

No as long as you keep grounding yourself to the case or other metal objects. Just handle things from the edges and keep touching metal after walking around especially on carpet.

    Yep. I've never used one.

As mentioned just tap the metal parts on the case occasionally and you'll be fine.

I think anti static straps only work for those with OCD. I have jumped a static spark to my board before with no malfunction afterwards. I can't say this would always be the case.

I've found that sucking on a piece of aluminum foil is also good. Plus it helps with cell reception !
