Well I finally got around to sorting my daily oc of 4.5Ghz using an adaptive Vcore 1.232v. I'm sure I can get the voltage down a tad more to 1.216 though but we shall see Max temp's seen were 69c.
Cool one Ryan, now when did you get a Haswell? Looks good, did you try IBT and check temps? The one I played with would go to 85C-90C real fast.

Speaking of IBT Gary, here is a shot during a run I did a short while ago, I have to say I am very happy with the temps on Ivy-E, I was expecting it to run hotter than my 3770K but it is actually cooler. I was also expecting it to have to run more volts, I was reading a thread before I got it and most people seemed to need 1.4V for 4.4GHz, I was pleasantly surprised when mine only needed 1.25V for 4.6GHz. I guess I got a good chip :)

that is a good IBT run Paul and nice temps. Core temp says 469.9W though?

Yeah not too sure on that Gary unless that is the total system power draw at the time?

Very nice run, Paul and great temps. Like you, I would expect higher. Congratulations. The only thing wrong with it is the 4598 MHz, hence the reason for my Bclk of 100.3.

I think it's the CPU power draw, here's my 2550K.

Well according to core temp the tdp for your chip is 95 Watt so it can't be?

That's the Thermal Design Power, it wasn't designed to operate at 4.6GHz. The 3770K also shows over the TDP, I have to put it back together to see how much. I've never seen either go over 120W though.

I have no idea then mate. I guess this CPU is sucking up a lot of juice under load then

    It's fine at idle lol.
