I plan on OCing the cpu, ram and gpu but I have a plan I am sticking too. I am waiting on a new case and SSD in the mail. Once all the parts are put together, I will start messing with the speeds and seeing what I can get out of my FX and GTX 660. I might invest in some Mushkin Redline ram also, not sure yet![]()
That's the cooler I have. The Evo is even better, and only a few bucks more

Well D if yo are thinking still I shoved this puppy into my Sandy Bridge and main tester - it is big but VERY efficient (300 watts cooling) and quiet
Freezer 13 PRO · CPU · Cooling · ARCTIC I liked the undrside RAM cooling fan too:)
It's what we do! We've been over this.
RAM overclocking is a bit more finicky than CPU-based clocking, but if you can readily set memory speeds without having to worry about the accompanied side effects then you should be golden. I haven't done any serious RAM clocking since the 939 days perhaps.
Or maybe it was when I killed off my Dominators? Yes, one of the two.
And Lady, you'll be joining the dark side soon enough as well. There's cookies and cake here; how can you say no to that?
The closest I plan on coming to overclocking is raising my RAM to 1600MHz (which I did before installing the OS).
That's too easy. You need to get your hands dirty and work those cores for all that they're worth! :)
And now I need to overclock something. Again.
