What is happening here i think my english was lost somewhere
I decided to put my 2600K and P8P67 Evo mobo up forsale a few weeks back, I figured if they sold I could do a relatively cheap upgrade to Ivy.
I forgot all about it until I got an email today saying my 2600k had sold, got £195 for it before fee's which is pretty good 2nd hand.
So I will be ordering a 3770k next week, I need to have a good think about the motherboard and it may take a couple more weeks before I have the funds to change it but I expect the total upgrade cost for mobo and cpu to be around £80 which is not bad to me. Keeps me busy anyway.
Will post some pictures as and when.
Paul.
I'll recommend the Asus Z77 Sabertooth bro, top notch motherboard!
Hey Kelly,
I think it's a little above my budget for the Motherboard unfortunatly. I need to try and keep under £120 ideally.
I have been reading reviews and checking out a lot of forums and the Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 seems to be hitting the spot with a lot of people.
Not decided yet by a long way, still checking out stuff.
Paul I will strongly advise against any ASRock board. I had one, they claimed my hardware was bad...3 different sets of HDD, RAM and CPUs. their support, well, isn't. When I told them none of their FOUR boards would work, not even POST, their only reply was that they test all of them before shipping out.
Not selling any 'cause got no upgrade to do...
For the same price & specs (less THX TruStudio) as an Asrock extreme 4 you could get also an ASUS P8Z77-V LE PLUS
