Nice case Solar and is that a box you are using on the floor can't quite make it out on this laptop - good idea if it is for keeping the dust at bay - well a bit anyway.

Me personally like it on the desktop too much rubbish at floor level:)

Oh the Ram I have 16GB in my Sandy Bridge and it is truly overkill for what I use but nice to have spare LOL!!

Absolutely my Ivy B is running 8GB @1866MHz (able to go to 2400MHz) and as soon as my replacement GPU arrives I shall be posting some shots of it. It's a HAF XM with all blue lighting - woo hoo!!

Yep I know what you mean the HAF came with a red LED 200 at the front and two no colours 200's at the top so they are all blue LED and so are the two 140's in the side panel.

The Intel LC is also lit up blue and I have just fixed a new blue LED HDD light in the the front of the top case cover / switch USB box. It was red along with the power on switch but as I don't see that now I have left it red.

I was thinking of running some blue LED strips around inside the case but my mate said it wouldn't show up too well so have dropped that idea. The case originally came with the clear panel that I did not want and sent it back but in hindsight should have kept it Nevr mind it has turned out quite well anyway.

Yea this case came in red lights which right away took off and went to work

another reason for not wanting red at night it is a hideous color me and my lady work in the medical field plus i have a 3 year old running around i see blood alot and red really isnt something a child would like either i like earthy mellow tones

being calm means alot and the color you see in front of you reflects attitude as well

Hah small world eh? I am an RN and the sight of blood bothers me not in fact the more the merrier LOL!!

No seriously I just like that mid royal blue. My littly is now 34 years old and he still goes faint at the sight of blood. In fact I did some pathology on him a few years back and I had to lie him down

Hum just thinking better put an electric fence around it Solar keep the littly from playing with the new build ( making my eyes water LOL!!)

Probably lucky as my Asus defaults to the optical drive every time I check the boot to the HDD.

If the boot is running ok then it is a plus I reckon.

Everything is how i left it on the other rig except for the bios layout

I installed most of the programs on the second hard drive i just pluged it in and everything is how it was when i disassembled it

I think it is wierd as i know when you do any major change like this a fresh install would be just

so far i havn't seen anything to make me belive it isn't running correctly
