Would a HD 6670 be enough for my system?

    Newegg.ca - XFX HD-667X-CLF3 Radeon HD 6670 2GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 Low Profile Ready Video Card

Basically I want to improve performance a bit without doing a complete rebuild, and I was wondering if this would be a decent addition? Mostly I'd be doing games like Portal and Portal 2, but I may get into meincraft.

Would this card be a balanced addition? or would the rest of the system (in my system specs) be not worth it?

From the specs i see that your PSU is 300W. The HD 6670 requires minimum 400W. In order to use this card, you should upgrade the PSU as well. For your system, a 500-550W PSU would do the job

Yeah 6670 is pretty good for a budget card.
It can play bf3 on high at 720p pretty good according to this article and on low on 1080p
Battlefield 3 graphics cards how low can you go? A 6670 Quick Bench

Anyways yea try getting a 450-500w power supply. Minecraft and portal should run really good,I could run them on high on my old 5450 at 1336x768 which is weaker then 6670.

I don't know If I can get a new PSU, this one is sort of custom for this case.
Do i really need 400W? Every PSU calculator I've used says I need at least 170W with 220W preferred.

6670 will be fine for what you are expecting of it. They do draw little power, right from the PCi slot I believe.
But sadly, the PSUs that come with Pre-Builts usually are not that good and can't handle much more than what it came with.

The 400W rating is for the entire system. So long as you are not OCing, and have a ton of fans and HArdware (such as HD etc) you should be fine. Otherwise it may be pushing it close, depending on exactly how good the PSU is. Wattage itself means little.
Open the case and look at the side of you PSU. See what it says the amps are for 12V rail. That should give a better idea.

Just do not expect to run some modern games @1080P and high settings. But most Source games, Minecraft etc should do well as well as media such as DVD BluRay.
