Ah sorry, must have not been paying attention, I should stop posting late at night.
But then again, someone already mentioned that since the GPU is being maxed then it is taking load off the CPU, and the CPU might seem it unnecessary to increase the frequency, have in mind that turbo boost is smart and depending on the CPU limitations it will calculate how high it can increment the frequency.
Perhaps if you tried an application that requires a lot more CPU power you could see how it behaves.
Those applications are not demanding.
When I open firefox (which is more of a resource hog than chrome) and am navigating/watching videos/posting on forums. My CPU usage barely changes.
Then again, I have turbo boost disabled in favor of having all 4 cores of my CPU sit at 4.3GHZ all the time.
