I found with the older fx chips like the 4100 ,6100, 8120,8150 take alot more juice to control vs the Piledriver the Pile driver can operate a couple notches lower in V-core then the first generation

so to get it super stable i would assume you need to be 1,45 or 1,46 to be solid those chips were terrible in stability unless it has alot of juice that is what i have seen in the past months with overclocking these chips

Cheers chap, i shall keep trying as it just failed IBT on the 10th pass with the error linpak binary stopped unexpectedly. Vcore is 1.452 with llc high but its drooping to 1.428 under load.
My Fx has a higher vid of 1.337

try 1.46 and it it runs through your 10 then your fine i don't do the full ten if you can pass 5 to 8 then i would say it is fine 10 passes is kinda extreme but if you want to make sure tap it to the 1.46 im going to jump to the oc thread i don't want to get in trouble for hijacking or anything lol

I finally got around to doing a run Pretty close to your score Tommy. Not quite close enough though aye
The molex extension i ordered for the EZ plug on my mobo should come today. I'll see if its that that has been limiting it or not.
I was looking at the Valley thread over on OCN forums Ryan and it seems most SLI 670s are scoring over 3500 points, with some around 3800.

Good point, and I must admit I didn't check that. Would the cpu make such a big difference do you think?

I think so as Amd chips don't do handle the physics like intel do. I think it was physics but i maybe wrong?
