My goal tonight was to break 2000 points with a single card.

(Please note this is without Lucid on, Lucid does not work with Valley benchmark anyway.)

I installed the latest version of Trixx 4.6, I overclocked to 1230/1675.
I installed the latest 13.2 Beta 6 drivers.

And what do ya know, I didn't just break 2000 points, I smashed it.
This is a pretty sweet score for a single GPU, well I am certainly happy with it anyway

Thanks Ryan, it's a pretty good score, but I was looking on the charts on OCN and some of the guys have had nearly 2500 from 1x 7970, I am not going to attempt to get higher, I can't be bothered lol

Remember on OCN they're probably ringing the cards neck with some mad high oc, silly voltage's and chiller units for cooling. Going there to compare results is like going to the ROG forums for results
have a look at the first post on this thread Unigine Benchmark
A couple of the lads ran Valley, One of which was running an i5 2600k and a 7970. He score's pretty much the same.

Edit: It's bloody cold thismorning so i thought i'd do a run with stock gpu setting's while ambient was about 10c just to see what difference temp makes. It didn't really, A couple more fps and +6 points thats all.
It was nice to do it without my cpu fans @ 87% though. nice n quiet I'll have a bit more of a read up on Nvidia oc'n and have a play.

    PrecisionX screenie of Valley running

It's another cold one today so i thought i'd try to break 3k. My Gpu's were idling at 26c so nice n chilly but i've not done any gpu oc before. So just testing the water's

Not quite got the 3k yet but i'll get there. It should be easy though
