Correct way to connect the termaltake 2.0 Pro water pump.

This is driving me nuts so I figured id ask here if I connected everything right. My Radiator came with 2 120mm fans which are connected using a Y cable. I connected the Y cable to the 4pinCPU_FAN on my motherboard. The water block itself has another 3 pin cable coming off it that I connected to a 3pin-molex adapter coming straight from the PSU. I was told it needs constant power. My mobo also has 3pinSYS_FAN1 ,4pinSYS_FAN2, 3pinPWR_FAN. My SYS_FAN1 is being used by a large 120 quiet case fan. My 3pin PWR_FAN is going to be used for my ram cooler. Have I made any mistakes?

The Layout( I sorta drew it to represent what I have right now. Is this correct? ) This is a thermaltake 2.0 pro water cooeler by the way in case anyone asks.

    Thermaltake - U.S.A. - Water 2.0 Extreme - CLW0217

    That should help some.

If you connect to the 4 pin CPU header then the fans get powered off the twin fan connectors. This way the software can monitor fan speeds and temps.

The pdf you linked is to the extreme version, I have the pro version, No usb connection on the water block. My biggest concern is where to hook up the water block 3 pin connection. I connected the Y 4pin cable split to the 4pin cpu_fan connection for power and temp readings. I just want to make sure the pump is getting constant power flow without any disruptions due to heat saving / power saving software.

So the Y connector allows both fans to run off one 3 pin fan header. You're correct if you use the molex for the pump it will run full boar off 12 volts (recommended) or plug to another fan header or the CPU header (turn off cool and quiet) in bios.

The Y connector cable is 4 pins and connected to CPU_FAN.

From a position point the 4 pin CPU header is perfect but I believe it could work off the 3 pin fan header with the 4th pin just handing off unconnected and not being read by bios or software.
