    Yeah it sure is.
Here's an IBR High run after putting on a Hyper 212 EVO cooler.

It was idling at 37-38C, now in the mid 20's.

I idle there with mine. I wonder if I need to re-seat the cooler or it just because it's so hot here. It is about 30C in the room where I have my PC.

If you've nothing to do, reapplying the paste may help some. You're only 7-8C above ambient, so I don't think that's too bad. My room at the moment is 21-22C.

Looking very good so far Gary, nice winsat score and a 7.7 WEI score for the CPU at stock speed?

I think you are going to have a good time with your new setup.

Ah ha, a method to your madness. I'll push this a bit to see how hot it get before I decide on a closed loop. A full custom loop is too $$$ for me.

Looks like it is going well there mate that IBT is that something I could try on the Sandy Bridge to see how mine scrubs up?. I am running an Artic Freezer 13 Pro on it at the moment and often wondered how good this cooler actually is.

Yeah, just download IBT and I think it should be good to go out of the box. Here are the settings they recommend to test for stability.

Also, either have RealTemp or Core Temp opened to check your temps. IBT is VERY intensive and will produce quite a bit of heat.
