This the cable I made the other day for my new sound card. It looks good here but not so great once installed because the bends occurred on the heat shrinks. I'm tempted to do it over, leaving some wire exposed between the shrinks and the connectors to make the 90° bends easier.
Attachment 283657 Bad as it looked installed, it looks better than the stock cable I had temporarily installed. Attachment 283658 This a shot of the sound card installed with the new cable. Attachment 283659 It's a pity one can only see the PCB of cards from a normal viewing angle since they usually look cooler from the side you can't see. Attachment 283660 I'm still waiting for the front panel audio cable extension to be delivered so I can reroute the front panel cable and connect it to the sound card. |
