Wow! Even though I'm 64 and overweight, all I need is a surfboard to be an 8.5?

    1-10 sounds right.
We'll have to make some number signs like the ones they use for gymnastics in the Olympics, and we'll each give a score to every applicant with them, while aforementioned applicant is still in the room...

Yeap Lady. At least in my book, all you need is a board and a little attitude.

How have you been? It's been a while since I last saw you.
Still ruling the cable management world?

You are so kind! How about a little board and a lot of attitude (I am part Irish, doncha know)?

I'm still around. Right now, I'm still recovering from a ten day trip (which included helping a friend install a garbage disposal) and repairing some drain plumbing on my home after I got back (that was a chore).

As far as "cable management" goes, I'm mostly just using the computer I built. Once I get around to it, I need to cut down a chair mat (the ones you buy are too large for the space I have), replace some floor tile, and do some "cable management" behind my desk to make room for the 2.1 speakers I want to get (Corsair SP2500). I'll probably have to make up some longer speaker cables for it (I already have some extra four pin ATX connector bodies; I just need to get more pins and some four wire cable). I'll also try out an ASUS Xonar Essence STX sound card to see if that will improve my sound over the onboard sound.

Once the sound system is squared away, I need to figure out how to get a TV tuner card or two to work with my computer. The Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 2250 dual tuner is at the top of my list right now. I want to be able to use a single feed for OTA TV, Satellite TV (which I don't have yet), and FM. I'll use the tuners to record TV and Radio broadcasts when I'm unable to watch them in real time.

After that, I need to look into getting some new monitors. The Dell Ultrasharp U2312HM is at the top of that list right now. I want to get three and mount two horizontally and one vertically on my desk and also hook my TV up to the computer (right now, I have only one monitor and the TV hooked up). Eventually, I want to replace the TV with one that is DLNR compliant and stream to it from the computer. I'm also going to experiment with streaming to the speakers using an Apple Airport Express (I also could use another Airport Express to stream to the existing TV).

All this takes money and I'm still recovering from the financial hit I took building my ship anchor...er...computer.

    Paul! How are you mate?
Long time no see. How's everything going?
Thank you very much for you comments, you are too kind.

Alan, how are you? It's been a while.
We'll send you a job application form when we open a branch up there.

John, will send you one to you too when when we expand to Ozland.

Steve, in this solemn act we appoint you Honorary Gaming Chairman of the Board!

It might sound as an adolescent comment (like proposing that we rent a house by the sea and that we all move in together) but I really wish we lived any closer and that we could set up shop together. We'd be outselling Newegg in no time!

Till you all move to Argentina, we all move Down Under, we all join Paul in the UK or you yanks help us three get green cards, all I can do is share pics here.
Or maybe make you all honorary members of the board! You'd be, of course, reporting to Steve. Hhahahha!

No, seriously, I'm so happy with the way things turned out! Six months ago I had never owned a desktop computer, not to mention a high end gaming rig. Now, with your help, advice and encouragement I own a performance shop. A very small one at that, but who knows what the future might bring, right?

Later today I'll upload some pics.

    Cheers guys!

Actually bit OT but Juan I just knighted Sir Essenbe (he is too modest to put it up LOL!!) and the women mate um I am in retirement so they are all yours and linne's

Yes mate you are right too you never know what the future holds and the more you strive and get the hard yards in early you will do well as you are doing at the moment, and some - all the very best for the future.

I know I put in several years study for what I do and it was all worth it.

Now for a little, little, contrast to Bungee's fine work. I decided to swap the GPU in wifey's machine to my old one. Here's what I found on the CPU cooler.

I don't often turn a machine on its side. This one I did and found a World Record class dust monster (too big to be a bunny) on the PSU intake, it's bottom mounted. That thing was huge, wish I'd snapped it too. If you have a bottom mounted PSU, check its intake grille of filter if you have one.
