    Three 770's seems doable.
Nevertheless I'd love to do the Titan SLI.
Will see if we can get someone to sponsor the rig and chip in the Titans.
A 690 would be nice too, don't you think so?

    Cheers,

    J
It will certainly be an awesome rig, what do you think about Case colour with the orange theme?

And the 690 is too old school now haha.
Orange it will be. Let me think about it for a couple of days and see what we can come up with.

Yeah, the 690 is a bit old school now that the Titan and the 700 series are out, but it still is a great card and prices are dropping by the minute. Good cost/performance ratio if the prices keep dropping?

So here are some preliminary shots of what it looks like right now.
It is a work in progress, so bear with me.

This rig will be presented at a trade show in August, so any advice and tips are more than welcome!

The case will be done in some kind of a Star Wars theme, something to do with an Imperial Stormtrooper, Vader's Tie Fighter or an X Wing Fighter. Not sure yet. I'm working on it right now. Will upload some sketches later this week so you can all give me your opinion and help me decide.

Steve, once again, thank you very much for everything!

Next "special" will be something for Paul. Will start work on it by the second week of August. Any requests Paul?

Well, I leave you with the pics.

    Cheers,

    J
I LOVE this idea. If you know any artists, you could maybe talk them into doing some theme artwork on that case to present at the trade show. Awesome work Juan! Top notch

I agree with Paul, great choice! You are going to enjoy it a lot.

Thanks guys. I would have maybe went with the Z87 Sabertooth, but the Deluxe had more features I wanted, 10 SATA headers and WiFi.

Really nice setup Juan. Do you have good luck with Gigabyte boards? I got 3 that were not usable.

The ASUS Z87 Deluxe was one of the Haswell boards I was comparing my present rig with just out of curiosity. I was also looking at the Z87 Deluxe/Dual.

Here are some preliminary sketches for the case.
I'm pretty sure we'll go with the Stormtrooper theme.

Let me know what you think. It still needs a lot of work, but it is a good approximation of what it looks like in my head.

Obviously, the art was done by people who know what they are doing (deviantART mostly). Once we settle for a final design I'll ask for permission for using it and give credit where credit is due.

Meanwhile, here it is. What do you think?

    Cheers,
