Hey Tommy! How are you friend?
So you finally gave up on AMD? Great upgrades btw.
What do you think about AMD's new 9000 series processors?
Would love to put together a tutorial, but I don't think I know enough to pull it off. Not yet at least. Maybe in a few months...
And there's the one that Alsis put together which is pretty comprehensive and detailed.
Thanks for your comments and encouragement.
Cheers,
J
Juan, anyone who can build rigs like you, is over qualified to write a tutorial. You do fantastic work.
That was a great rig, well done. It makes it nicer when you sell it before it's finished. Keep it going, my friend.
How are you Steve?
Thank you a lot for your kind words.
The rig is not finished yet. Tomorrow we'll install the lighting (UV and green), do some sleeving and tidy the back side up.
We kept the Stormtrooper theme I posted some time ago, with some changes, but I'm saving that for the pro shots.
I think you are going to like it!
Thank you for everything friend.
Cheers,
J
I agree with Steve Juan, from what I've seen you know how to do water just fine.
I'd like to see something about sleeving and where to get the tools to release those darn pins.
The 9000 chip- is a waste of money you could get there on your own the voltage off the bat is like 1,5 and have to have a special board if not you have to have great cooling 5ghz can be reachable
I haven't given up on AMD I just find the performance is a lot better with Intel I still have my 8350 and Sabertooth board I can either sell it or keep it for future build
Thank you for complimenting my upgrades they were really cheap seriously
Good thinking Lady
Yeah i usually install the mobo while the case is on its side too,I wouldn't like to try and do it while the case was stood up.
I'm not sure if it's down to Corsair case's or my mobo but its a really tight fit as you have to push it up against the I/O sheild with some force before the holes line up.
Nice 1 Dude! I've seen a couple of those submerged builds and they look pretty cool but i wouldn't want to clean the stuff off at any point lol.
I see his kid is getting to learn nice n early. Good stuff
Thanks Juan
I think i'm finally happy with it now lol Well i will be once the cable's and fans get done.
That build you're doing is comming on really well enit chap, The green and white look proper nice together and those Enzo fittings are the mutts nuts. Very nice!
