I agree with Steve Juan, from what I've seen you know how to do water just fine.
I'd like to see something about sleeving and where to get the tools to release those darn pins.
    Hey Gary!

I absolutely hate sleeving! It is a real PITA, regardless of how many tools you have or how good they are.

You can find a good selection of tools here Extractors, Crimpers & Cutters : Performance-PCs.com, ... sleeve it and they will come or here Crimping / Pin Removal | Page 1 | Sort By: Product Title A-Z - FrozenCPU.com *

I personally like Performance PCs better. I think their customer service is second to none, but that's me and others may differ.

    Cheers,

    J

I like Performance PCs as well. I talked to the guy that runs the place about some custom work and he sounded like a really good dude. He was excited about the project and came up with some really good ideas. I'd deal with him any day.

    Hahhaha Paul!
Today I kindda took a break because it is a long weekend down here and I'm in the countryside enjoying a good brandy and a fire at a friend's estate.

Or rather I'm getting drunk by the fire while glued to my computer. I hope dinner will be ready ready soon, 'cause if it takes much longer I won't be able to walk to the table.

Thanks for visiting our page! Your Spanish is brilliant!!!

    Cheers,

For lack of anything better to upload for the time being, here's some shots of what the MSI 780s look like with the HeatKiller X3 LT mounted.

These are very nice blocks. THe quality of the materials, the machining and the workmanship in general is just amazing.

Germans really live up to their reputation when it comes to precision machining and manufacturing.

    Cheers,

Thanks for the tool links Juan.

Now here's something only a dumbass (ME) would do. I had to see what a Saber Tooth looked like with out the armor. Looks rather nice, the PCB material is a dark military OD (olive drab) green.

Gary, what is that on the heat pipe going from the VRM above the socket, to the left of the socket.

All this time, I thought I was the only one who opened up packages of electronics's when they were delivered.

Then I really opened the electronics after getting them out of the box,

To understand how the new piece really works, you must take it all apart, fully, to see why it works, then put it back together and see if it works as claimed !

If it does not perform as stated, you find out how to do a RMA.
