I build this one back in Jan. A little pricey, but a very nice fast combo !

    Thank's to both for replies,

Price not too bad, even though I don't understand what I'm looking at too well.

I ordered the new case and fans from Here: NCIX - Buy Computers, Computer Parts, Laptops, World's Leading Discount Computer Store
they are in Calif. and prices are very low.
I saved $40. by buying from them as opposed to newegg.

When looking for parts, I usually check Newegg, NCIX, and Tigerdirect to compare prices. Amazon is also a popular choice as well. The combo that Doc Brown suggested has the top of the line AMD CPU, and the motherboard is very high end with the latest AMD chipset. If you are comfortable with those prices, go with that. Won't get much better than that on the AMD side, especially for that kind of money.

Good price on the case. NCIX is $45 higher on a i5-3570K though.

Agreed, case was $148. w/3 (140mm)extra fans, newegg would have been $40. more.
I never heard of NCIX before, found it on Tom's Hardware site, the name popped up in a list of sellers.

Prices are mostly lower but, some are a bit higher. The only way to get free shipping is to spend $100. or more.

Looks like a very greedy seller on that board. It is discontinued so I suppose he's banking on someone, somewhere who really wants one. The UD7 must have some special provenance, the UD6 is reasonable.
    Amazon.com: GA-990FXA-UD7

    Maybe not discontinued: http://www.shopgamebreakerz.com/comp...3-motherboard/

In your Amazon link I see no UD6.
changing the 7 to 6 finds these:
    http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...AGA-990FXA-UD6

Which of the two is the better choice ?
Is the AMD FX 8350 good to use with it ?
