Took a pizza break for a while.(mmm shrooms)

Started to run some cables, looked in the case manual and no diagram. Wires in case are not marked at all.
Think I figured out front fan control (?) Gonna connect 2 front and the top fans to it for now.

Then will start with the PSU manual and cables, should be a lot easier as everything is labeled.

Case instructions usuallsay something like, "connect the front panel cables to the motherboard connectors."

They are usually marked, USB, Audio 1394, HDD LED, etc. Send a pic if stuck.

Roast turkey, stuffing, potatoes, gravy for me. All frozen in a neat package.

    Gonna call it a nite.

Got about 70% of wiring done, of-course will redo it in the morning when I can put away the flashlight.
PSU to MB cables are in. Front panel is wired in also.
Will put in the SSD and HDD also. Looks like a molex cable connects to the front fan controller.

I think I want to replace the 1 TB Internal HDD with the 2 TB External HDD I have for back-up.

If I do that, I would have to do a quick format to wipe out the Acronis back-ups on it. Then start from square one on the smaller drive with Acronis. Does this make sense ?

I do have to say what a pleasure it is to work is a large case !

sounds good. Be sure you connect the SSD to the number 0 or 1 SATA port and if doing a clean install leave only the SSD attached.

For the drive swap, I would transfer your stuff from one to the other and do the format and transfer it back when done.

I wasn't planning on doing a clean install.

For the HDD's can I format the 1TB then swap Acronis stuff from the 2TB ?

Sure thing if you don't have anything you want to save on the 1TB drive.
