FX8120 Build OS Vista thoughts ?

I am preparing a Build to operate vista and maybe VM of Linux Mint

I am not sure of how I should go about this but thus far this is the build
    Mother Board MSI 990fx -GD80
    CPU FX8120
    HD Seagate Barracuda 750GB 7200rpm
    GPU HD6870
    Cooling Antec 620 Khuler
    Psu Cooler master extreme 700w
RAM still up in the air will go purchase in a hour or so
DVD re write drive LG DVD burner
    OS Vista Home Basic 32Bit

I do plan to migrate to a Win8 OS just because but what are your thoughts on running Vista with this hardware will there be any issues this is just a pet project I always have room to upgrade also wondering should I go with corsair ram again for the Slight overclock or should I get something else I can only use 4 GB so opinions on deck

I see no problems for Vista with that build.

It should work well with Vista, but why?

Corsair RAM is a quality brand, I have been using only GSkill for my last 4 builds with very good luck and it seems to over clock well.
