    yes that will allow me to connect a PATA optical drive to a sata cable? will it fit in the case?

    I think so, never used nor seen one. I think it will attach to the optical drive so will stick out some.

    sweeet ill give it a shot. i got a free optical drive lol
    in bestbuy, the AUX cables were $10..... and the drive was $40. now i have the aux cables + free drive + adapter for $10..... shweeet deal! lol

    You could get a new SATA DVD/RW for $17.99.

    lmao im actually selling that as soon as my PC comes in the mail. no need for it anymore and i can get my $90 back

    also selling my 6770. so far 4 watchers, so hopefully that will go too

    PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

    so i just realised that i can not install windows unless i have a disk drive. lol

    i have thw windows disk, how can i take the files off the disk and put them in a USB and boot from the USB?

    1. Download the correct version of the Windows 7 ISO from this location
    2. Write it to a 4GB USB flash drive using this tool.
    3. Boot from the USB flash drive (place it in 1st boot order in BIOS), and install Windows as you usually would.

    Done.

    i can not copy it from the disk and then put it on the USB?
