awesome! ima give it a shot!
i downloaded it, but you must have a WD drive connected in order to install it.
You could download the Manual.
Then you will have plenty of time to read and understand it. 109 pages of pure bliss !
No WD HDD required to use it.
There are several tuts here on SF. I like to use Free Macrium Reflect it will image, clone, and restore from a Reflect image.
Imaging with free Macrium
MACRIUM REFLECT - Create Bootable Rescue USB Drive
An Old School Geek’s approach to Installing & Setting Up a Windows PC
I would also back Macrium (free or paid versions) as very solid and not drive dependent. Flexible and easy to use. The free Acronis imaging products are available for WD and Seagate but are diffent programs. What happens when you jump to an SSD?
Another +1 for Macrium here.
I did an Image using it just after I had installed windows and all updates and drivers.
Since then I do another image weekly.
