Don't be so hard on yourself, we all learn here. You are doing good with your build so just take your time and ask questions like you have.
We all want the instant gratification of new toys, but it really pays off to have patience an figure out the best move to make before making that purchase
You have to look at the "Output" of these PSU's
Most of the ones you point to are lean on the +12v rail, this should be higher.
Read thru some of the post's here on Tom's Hardware:

Take your time and take notes.
ok, so i think its comming down to these 3:
CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 500W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Newegg.com
CORSAIR CX500M 500W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Newegg.com
Rosewill Green Series RG530-S12 530W Continuous @40°C, 80 PLUS Certified, Single 12V Rail, Active PFC "Compatible with Core i7,i5" Power Supply - Newegg.com
which do you guys think?
i think im getting the CX500M because of the $20 rebate and 5 year warranty
This one, it's modular. CORSAIR CX500M 500W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Newegg.com
Once you use a modular, you'll never go back.
also the mail in rebate. since its $20, that 20 will go back into my bank account? like it wont be put on a credit card to be used for anything else?
