so final verdict. if i set the CPU to 4.5ghz WITH a new PSU, do you think everything will be fine and not blow up? obvisiously im going to need another CPU cooler too.

also i do not have APS. and i CAN change my FSB.

Ok with that being said then a mild oc @ 4.5 ghz should be obtainable I would recommend getting a closed water loop with high sp fans that will keep your cpu to good levels and
also get better fans all around it does make a difference I know you like the one you have mounted but it has to go for something that can get your heat out quickly the cheapy fans just won't do

wait.... the SS you posted, the guy said that the max voltage was 1.5V, mine goes up to 2.5V in bios.

    also i might also shoot for a 4.2-4.3GHZ instead..maybe 4.4ghz.

YOU GUYS ARE SCARING ME! lol

The EVO is the better of the two but pretty big from what I heard and you will need to remove the backplate from the MB in order to install it

That depends on what Bios version you are using they could have fixed your version vs his because I know the Bios I had sucked and Bungee another forum member had the same board and came to the same conclusions the bios is nerfed maybe you are still running a older one who knows I just know the high end board I had sucked
