Jack there's another two you might see, SSHD or SHD, which is a solid state hybrid drive. They have a very small SSD built in a HDD for caching.

My three brain cells are not keep up with all these acronyms.
The reason I asked is when I Google ODD I get pages of
Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) and I wasn't quite sure why anybody would order one of them. I have a CD, DVD, and BlueRay players and yes I know they are optical, I just didn't know their was a acronym that covered them all.
Thank you for the information. I will just go away and watch.
i just realized that i can set the voltage to "AUTO" and i will not have to touch it unless its getting too hot.
rite now, its set at "auto"
alright im board, so looking into a PSU to buy. what do you guys think?
all my specs are on profile, but i do plan to upgrade later on some that i have in mind:
future upgrades maybe:
gtx 660Ti
8 Core FX CPU
500GB HDD
etc etc
i was looking at these:
COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power RS600-PCARE3-US 600W ATX12V V2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply - Newegg.com
Rosewill Stallion Series RD600 600W ATX12V V2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply - Newegg.com
This is $20.00 more and will have a better return policy if something should happen
I will state skimping out on the PSU is a big mistake I do in fact have the Big brother for that PSU cooler master 700w extreme but for overclocking I wouldn't trust it to much because there is a certain level of quality that comes from a certified PSU CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Newegg.com
