I don't believer a 85W i5 will have a overheating problem with stock fan if not over clocked.
Some nice instructions for you Arctic Silver.

It's a small change, but I have had 10 Samsung burners, and they have been quiet and rock solid...and cheap. Other than that, there's absolutely no reason to fear Windows 8 at this point. Two of my four systems are running it without issue, and I'm really getting used to some of the differences, like the new Task Manager. I couldn't tell you the last time I looked at the Metro screen, either. Since you have it already, I'd go with it.
Thanks Jack I will save that PDF
I hit the buy button so now will be waiting for the UPS guy later this week and next week.

You could download the manual for you motherboard ahead of time and read through it to get a good idea how things should be.
I went ahead and ordered a CPU cooler just to be on the safe side.
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 2011/1366/1155 and AMD FM1/FM2/AM3+ - Newegg.com

Enjoy the assembly process and the logic of the wiring. Are you going to build it on the mobo box and test or build it in the case and test?
