With a few more tweaks, made it to 4.9GHz ("4899.91 MHz," as validated). :)

Wow, looks like I have a little updating to do on the leaderboards.

Very nice OC Alan at fantastic volts.

Great work Wrend, that is one excellent OC!

I will update the leaderboards a little later on when I get a few mins.

    Paul.

Thanks, Paul. I might be having a little too much fun with this...

At least now I have a legitimate 8th place instead of getting it by margins.

    Leaderboards updated.

@Alan, you are supposed to Validate your speed as stated in the first post of this thread, but seeing as you are a long standing and respected member then I have put you in any way. :)

NON, when you said you were getting too hot, look at the CPUz Voltage in the first shot while IBT was running. It's 1.328. Your temps were probably about right for that vcore during IBT. Kelly's bios is set up right for overclocking. My bios is the same except for dram timings , frequency and voltage and the vcore settings. I think 1.2V is about right for 4.2. Many chips will run 4.2 on stock voltage. Have a read if you want to. This is what Kelly and I both pretty much go by, it works. Ivy Bridge Overclocking Guide#
    Congrats Wrend!

    Yes i saw that!

Now all is set to manual in AI Tweaker tab

    Started at Cpu Voltage 1.23v.

Set in Bios, Cpu Load line calibration to "Ultra High", And Cpu Capability to "130%", VRM Fixed Frequency Mode to "250KHz", Cpu Power Thermal Control to "130°C". DRAM Voltage Frequençy at 350KHz.

In the Digit+ Power Control, CPU & DRAM Power Phase Control are on "Extreme". Kept the T.Probe module!

    A quick IBT gives,
    Max:
    Core #0: 67°
    Core #1: 78°
    Core #2: 74°
    Core #3: 69°

I'm gonna lower til it reach 1.16v [edited] if its stays stable.

If i understand right, when set to Manual the CE State should be kept to Enable, and when on Offset Mode +, it should be set to Disable. Is preventing BSOD during high loads, right?

PS: My results can be moved if i'm posting in the wrong forum section!

See my post for CPUz validation Alan. When you click "Submit" wait a moment and a window will open with the validation.
