Currently my system is at it's maximum potential unless I decide to purchase another 7970
Probably not they'll last for a long while atleast 3 years
I would say by then you could compare them to the 560ti lol with the other stuff that has been released
I doubt any games will be that hard on a gpu in the next few years either I remember my Nvidia 7300 GT lasted a long time and played Left4dead2 when it came out and I think that was like 09 ???
4 years ago and sold it to a buddy for 50 bucks I even overclocked it card was good to me

Yeah it's mad how much they're improving on performance and yeah you're right no game now or for a good while will max out today's gpu's. It's still nice to have them though

Yeah buddy just got the UPS Tracking number my 2nd Gpu is on it's way home
Depending on how I feel about the one I get I might send back the one I am using back as well
Visiontek approved me to do so ,I even asked over the phone so I am good to go

I think I figured out why my voltages were not reading right. Every time I make a run to try and catch Paul, I get a couple of bluescreens. When I started I would set the BIOS to default and start again after every BSOD. Then I got lazy and would just change the voltages. Tonight I started trying to figure it out again, so I ran some at the voltage settings going for 5.4 again. BSOD again. Then I looked at every BIOS setting, and low and behold after one of them my BIOS enables C-state. I checked a few times and it happens every time. So then I reset and ran a reasonable OC and what do you know, a more accurate Voltage reading. Lesson learned...don't get lazy. Here a screen of a 5GHZ run

Nice 1 chap That was a quick turn around for a change and a good result that they're will ing to replace the other too.
I recieved my be quiet! Silent PSU & Cooling for your PC on Monday but i'm waiting on some red/black bitfenix sleeved cable's to arrive today before installing. I've never seen a psu with so many options.

Intel said:
According to Intel, its "most tunable, capable and downright devastating PC processor ever" provides a 5 percent boost in compute-intensive performance over the Core i7-3970X, is 7 percent faster for 3D gaming, and 10 percent faster for 3D modeling.
But if you "tune" it, it voids the warranty. Crazy people are Intel.
