Looks good NoN! Now comes the testing and tuning part. Fun, fun, fun! If you run into any problems don't be afraid to ask......I'll be happy to help you out. If I can't figure it out, I can think of a few others here that can

Yeah, will do ask...now for that 4.2 i have to lower the voltage a bit. Then that will be my future settings.

Above will be just for fun!:)

I think i'll be quite upset about those dings! But don't know for sure if i open the box. Might inquire!
Right, the box is still sealed.

Looks like some one had a pick with it I would return it and tell them to discount you for the trouble
They won't discount it but do have generous return policies (Amazon).

Gary, did the outside packaging look similar to that or was it just the Intel box? Personally, I'd send it back.
The outer box was fine, it got the damage before being packed even though it was packed into a corner of the box with padding around it.

I wouldn't have even shipped that one to a customer. I'd keep it sealed and send it back. There's no pins on CPU's anymore, but it's still risky.

Intel doesn't use pins but AMD still does be glad it wasn't a FX-8350

Nice one Paul, I thought that my last run would motivate you

I enjoyed my time with the crown, but don't think I can keep up with...or can I ?
Might give it a go later, just got home from work.

Anyone else wants a specific name for their link, let me know.
You can remove Toasty from mine. I was just suggesting a name for the top OC's

Hey guys what if you paid $340 for something and it arrived like in these pics would you return it?

I would carefully open it up, check for any damage inside and then test the cpu out, if it works fine I would not worry about it, if it don't work ( which I really doubt) I would carefully pack it back up and send it back.

You're probably right Paul but I decided to return it for replacement, Amazon pays shipping both ways and will have it picked up at my door. The new one will get here the same day the crushed one is picked up.
I was leery of trying it out lest I get blamed for the damage if it didn't work right. Not willing to make a $340 bet.

That's fair enough Gary, looks like it will be a quick turn around for the new one anyway. A very good service!
