I just ran Prime blend for 10 hours at 4200 on the new Ivy B setup, all OK. The RAM did get real hot to the touch though, does anyone else's do that too? I though it was a quirk with Haswell, but Ivy Bridge does it too.

My ram doesn't feel hot neither does the block over the CPU I also feel the Radiator as well but it never seems to hit a temp that would make you feel it by hand yet

Cooling must be working for me

I'm running the newest BIOS, whatever it is. Version 2003 I think.

Just a start, any higher clock and it freezes on the glowing flag screen.

Yar Bill, I wanna topple Steve and Paul from the top spots. I may have to set the board in the fridge though, lol.

4847 may the be limit. Every time I try anything more it freezes on the boot logo or BSODs with Sytem_Service_Exception, or 0x7b, 0x7e, and 0x7f.

I'm just using BIOS settings and pissing with the offset, HT off and on, BCLK 100 or 103, etc. I even knocked RAM frequency down to 1414MHz.

What are your Bios settings and do you have CE1 Enabled and all the other power features off ?

also what is your LLC setting and your Manual CPU power still set to 300 or did you boost it to 350 ?

I have all the C States enabled, I don't know what power features? LLC is on High, I don't seem to have any Manual CPU power.
