Sorry, Paul but I just couldn't pass up posting that one. Although, I'll admit I believe it was a fluke. None of the numbers on cpuz were what I put in. It just happened, but I'm not complaining, I'll gladly take it. But Ryan, I do believe I can stop myself now. When I saw those numbers, it scared the crap out of me, but not so much I couldn't push the validate button. I was kind of like

I bet it did chap, You'd crossed the point of no return so validating had to be done aye
    Very nice oc mate

I'll get around to trying for the 5Ghz again at some point but at the min i'm pickling my head trying to get through the rog bios settings lol. Waaaaay too many settings that are far beyond my need's.
So far i've got within 7 point's of my old realbench score plus i need another i need another 8 ontop to get 3rd back or 11 for 2nd. I'm not going to attempt beating the 1st place lol ROG RealBench Leaderboard
My ram is holding me back as i have half the amount the others are using and they're running around 2000Mhz.

I wish it was that easy. I tried for several hours to get it to validate, but it would BSOD before I did. It finally validated, but a lot higher frequency than I was trying for. I don't know what happened, but I'll take it. Whatever I set wrong, I'm glad I did, i just wish I knew what it was. But, thanks everyone.

Doug what do you run to boost it to 5.4 and what are the temps? I usually slap the Intel cooler on for testing and temps will go to around the 50C mark just opening Photoshop.

I run super pi, temps soar to 80 sometimes 90 running IBT. and prime runs in the 70-80's since I'm using the super stock cooler still. I just got back from the the pub, had a few brews so I will make a voltage run. I will run 5.0- 5. I crash and show the voltages it reads in a minute after I grab another brew.

    Okay here is 5.0 volted

Here is the voltage at my everyday 4.5, with the OC version of cpu-z

Here it is at 4.6 which is the highest pure Bios I can boot to. 4.7 will boot, but then I get explorer has stopped
