I missed that conversation did you order all new parts noob?
    you calling me a n00b!?!?!

ha no, i was having stuttering problems in all games, and finally came to a conclusion that its either my mobo, gpu, or psu. i tested to make sure all components were getting power, then i realized my NB was INCREDIBLY hot to where i couldn't touch it. so i sent my mobo back. took about 3 weeks to get it back, and it was still getiing REALLY hot, so i sent it back again along with my gpu. its been about 3 weeks, and its going to ship by end of this week. i should get it back by next week. the 4th week on the same RMA! but anyway, thanks to Solar for helping me figure it all out.
I look forward to seeing your OC Noob I can see why Doug called you that, come on it's the first 4 letters of your username!

The socket retainer will hold it together.

In theory you should see temps 20C lower and as a result should be able to clock higher, but time will tell how high you can go. Steve set a massive target.

    I found that product....

Gasketing of cooling channels, radiator cover and soils, for repairing etc.

Especially when it comes to craft fans again and again: the seal is not seated properly or it has a small Macke and therefore no longer seals properly. Remedy is now done! Simply apply this surface seal at the desired location and let harden. Waterproof, can withstand temperature variations from -50 to 180 ° C and bridged seal height differences of up to half a millimeter.
Some will say what's the point delidding then re-gluing it, but i was wondering since this trick came over on Ivy Bridges if applying a thin coat of this product will not interfere with the Tim paste and height of the Core to the IHS.

I mean not that 0,5mm thick but very very thin coat.
