Is a Push-Pull Setup Worth It?

I have an H100i cooling an i7 3770k @4.6Ghz. Two fans are pushing air into the radiator. How much of a temperature difference would there be if I add pull fans to it? Also, what fans do you recommend for the radiator? I am using the stock corsair fans that came with the cooler.

Your should get about 2 to 3 C difference.
    I use Noctua fans.

    So...I shouldn't make it a push-pull?

If you are not having overheating problems with the CPU it's not necessary.

IMHO a push/pull allows lower fan rpm for the same temp control. The Corsair fans are not the quietest you can have by any means. Upgrade to some Noctua's and you like how quiet the are.

Run them at full tilt off the PSU if you like and order this model:
Noctua.at - sound-optimised premium components "Designed in Austria"!

This is right on the money. You may see a couple of degrees cooler but the real advantage to fans in push/pull is being able to run much lower rpms and still have the same amount of cooling. Noctua fans in push pull will keep things really cool and whisper quiet.

I run Noctua fans at 100% with no noise problems. If I did that with Corsair fans it would run me out of the room.
