Ok I finally came up with a good combination. ASUS Maximus VI Extreme, eVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX TITAN 4x in SLI, Intel 4770K, Corsair Dominator Platinum 8GBx4, Creative Labs Sound Blaster ZxR.
Once you add more than 2 gpu's you'll start getting more issues with gaming than its worth.
A gaming server doesn't need graphics power.
These are the specs to the dedi box our gaming community use and there isn't much better.
Intel Xeon E3-1270 Processor @ 3400MHz
8GB ECC 1333MHz DDR3 Ram
OCZ Vertex 4 256GB SSD
1000Mbit network port with unlimited bandwidth
On this we can run a good amount of sever's, ie 2x64 slot BF3, 1x32 slot BF3, 1x 40 slot DayZ and 1x40 slot Arma 3 aswell as our BF3 scrim server which is usually about 32 slots.
You said you want the best possible, so why are you going with the 4770K? It has already been pointed out the i7 4960X Ivybridge E is the best, it was only released a few weeks ago and well after the 4770K. It will killl the 4770K in everything.
So by selecting the 4770K you are not in fact choosing "The Best".
Paul.
Is this a theoretical build, or are you actually wanting advice on parts so you can order them? And yes, the question, and answer is relevant.
I don't know Op I gave you a system shy of the BEST IN THE WORLD (CM-PUNK ) Reference
The one I put together for you a couple pages would wreck havoc on anything looks like you are new to this because we all pointed out the same thing and you went the other way
I honestly think you need to look at what you are getting into ,We gave you a list of great parts for a build you think someone in a shop that prebuilds would do better they would give you half the performance for more money
If I were you I would jot down the system I formed and either keep that CPU or go for the Monster Paul picks said it would be a done deal
You would also learn about quality parts on top of it and if you had it put together you would know what to look for so you can make sure you weren't duped
