Your camera does the opposite of mine lol, If I take a pic with led lights in they look super bright and take over the picture but using a flash just washes the colour out.

Thanks Brian, well it's not a new machine mate, just a new CPU and Motherboard. You know me, I like changing things from time to time and it's been a fair while since I changed to a new chipset :)

I agree Paul. It's a very nice build. And looking at those pictures, you forgot to mention your new red case.

Wow, welldone Ganjy and Paul, I am going to upgrade exactly 4 October 2014 lol, then this computer convention comes up in South Africa. Lol, gratz again guys, the rigs are awesome!

Thanks Steve, it was not really a build, I didn't have to do much at all. All the cables stayed where they were it was just a simple swap.
I think I mentioned to you before, but mounting a cooler on 2011 socket has to be the easiest thing I have ever done. There is no backplate required so no fiddling around with 1 hand at the back and 1 at the front. The cooler just screws straight into 4 mounting points on the front of the board. I like nice easy things like that :)

They should have have two types of boards for the same Chipset so us water guys can just mount our water right away and if you want to do air they give the standard board
They do this with GPU's so that would be pretty awesome

The 920 Cooler comes with a different set of screws for 2011 socket (A bit shorter), you just tighten them straight into these holes and that is it Solar. No work at the back of the Motherboard at all

Sweetness i was in the furmark thread but found my minimal gain not worth posting

i got the GPU to stick at 1200/1600 i could get more maybe i was using trixx

I want a cool board like that now

Just transplanted my rig into my new corsair Air 540 case :) love the cube type design, no hot ugly psu in sight! Only downside to this case is that SSD's are hidden around the back so nobody can see them through the window.. only 3.5" drives go in the main bay.


Next up on my list is to build a custom water cooling loop to replace my corsair all in one. As well as a new gpu as my 6950 is showing its age.
