Love the big case, it is always nice to work on something with plenty of room. The force is with you on this rig.
OK I have a Corsair CPU Water cooler for one of my rigs Newegg.com - CORSAIR Hydro Series H75 CW-9060015-WW Water/Liquid CPU Cooler 120 MM and it keeps my FX8350 nice and cool at 4.1 Ghz. I am not an overclocker just want reliability with out a jet engine near my desk. Here comes the stupid question Steve. What are both sets of radiators needed for? As far as I can tell the VGA is air cooled or is that the WIP?

Well, Gary, it cost me about $1000, so, I have a right to show it off, I figure. Thanks, Jeannie.
Indianatone, most of your observations are correct. However, if you choose your fans wisely ( pay a lot) it is a very quiet machine. I have 15 fans in the rig that always run at 100%. I venture to say, my rig is as quiet as anyone's. But, it is just the CPU that is cooled. I considered water cooling the GPU also. But, EVGA's ACX cooler does such a good job, it was not necessary. I am an overclocker and enjoy it, but don't go for very high overclocks very often. But, when I do, I tend to get a little carried away with it. So, just consider the water cooling as self preservation.

Steve I was not insinuating the fans were noisy in your machine, I was talking about the stock AMD cooler that stays in the box as it makes more noise than than everything else put together which is why I always use an aftermarket heatsink fan on my computers.

Steve great job with your Phantexs Primo.
Very neat and clean and well thought out.
Now it's your turn to lets us know the your likes and dislikes of the Primo case.
Their are just so many options with that case.
What I don't like is this is Phantexs first case and they will make improvements on this case and then I will want to buy another one which I don't need.
Steve are you using the stock case fans? I find the stock fans very quiet in my Primo.
Could you lets us know what temp your video card runs with Furmark?

Yes, I'm using the stock 2 front fans and the stock rear fans. All the fans on the rads are Gentile typhoons.
I really like the case. It's probably the best case I have owned. I really didn't like the front door, but figured I could live with it. I'm going to see if I can make it 2 weeks without accidentally knocking it off. But, as far as getting to things and installing things, it causes no problems at all. You can tell it was pretty well thought out, and the back is set up for good wiring, although I have no idea why they needed the ton of case wiring and why they placed them where they did.
Considering what the case is built for, I would have made it about an inch longer and about 1.5 inches taller. That would have solved a lot of problems. Also, they could have included 2 fan hubs or a fan hub and a fan controller. Did it occur to them I may want to run my case fans at a different speed than the Rad fans? But, I do really like the unique fan hub. I would prefer they use a base that set the case a little higher off the ground, although there is sufficient room as is.
Last, but not least, if they do make an improved version, I certainly hope the don't sell it by the pound. This is by far the heaviest case I have ever owned. But that means it will last through a lot of builds. Overall, it is a fantastic case and well worth the money. If you have any questions, just ask, as long as it does not include a picture of the back.
