Thanks guys. Thats a great idea Steve, gonna do that in just a few minutes.
The only problem it causes is getting the fan wires back inside the case. Nothing that an ingenious young man like yourself can't figure out.

I got it mounted outside now. My case has tube holes so no problem routing the fan wire. I also managed to get my power connector and fan cable routed behind the board up top. It does free up some real estate inside. Thanks for the tip Steve!

OK I flipped my rad fan around so it's in taking air from the back. Well see how that goes. It exhausts it into the case but I think the top 2 exhaust fans will be able to handle it. I have 3 intake and 2 exhaust.

I knew someone as smart as you would figure it out easily. But, I have seen some people who had no clue of how to do it. They should be restricted to only touching the keyboard, and then only with supervision. But, it looks good in your rig. An extra inch of space can mean a lot inside a case. Well done, my friend.

Thank you very much, it does free up some room. I'm going to zip the tubes together and work on getting the pci connector cable better. It it quite a fight on the back panel. When I get it looking good, I will either mod the panel to be clear, or get a better case.

Good luck, I hope it works for you. I ran mine that way for a while. It is really dust heavy here in Texas so I switched it back and took the fan up from the bottom to try and cut down on dust

Some serious studies have shown that positive air flow will cut down on dust over 30%. I syill get dust in my cases, but never enough to affect performance, just enough to make you guys fuss when I post pictures. LOL. So, I quit posting pictures. But seriously, here is Silverstone's demonstration. a good read. SilverStone Technology Co., Ltd. What is positive air pressure?

Dude, you can try flipping the card cables over the top and zip them with the cooler hoses?
