What is not right? AMD has no max temp listed and the forums I referred to, say what is in the snip you posted regarding 70C in a different way.
I know for sure performance really goes to hell if you pass 62c
Also don't forget locks up immediately

when I bought a 8120 in FEB this year on AMD's old site design it had a max temp of 62c on their page for the 8350 and 60c for the 8120 and from what others have said and my experience if seems that is core temp and not the package.

Very nice build's madspec, NooberGoober. Good job both

As for the AMD max temps 62c core and 70c on the socket but ideally you don't want to be anywhere near that. AMD need to state it properly as there are so many people with varying idea's on what the actual max temp is.
