Very nice rig Patrick. I don't like big fans in the side panel because I have it off so often and have to fiddle with its cable. It would help with your GPU cooling.
Here's what I did with a side panel. Making a custom side window

thanks guys. yea, honestly I don't like the side fan, but my gpu cuts my case in half, so the 2 fan at the bottom that normally push air into the case and exit through the top, no longer exit through the top. so I need air coming ito the top. unless I take it out and flip the one top fan closes to the front around so it pushes air in.than the rear top one and the rear back one exhaust it..... what do u guys think? that big fan is very noisy tooo
I would have all of them as intake except the rear one. That will make positive pressure to help a little to keep dust out especially with the big side vent.
dust is my last concern. I want cooling performance. ok so I ran furmark with that big fan on and got a max temp of 75C. I ran with it off and got a temp of 75C. so it does nothing with cooling the GPU. idk what to do. what im thinking about doing is doing that window mod like you did and than adding a cold catho or something to the inside.
Hi All,
So I just got finished installing a few new items so I decided to share.
Upgrades
Corsair AX860i Fully-Modular Power Supply
Noctua NH-U12S (with a second NF-F12 fan) CPU Cooler
x1 Corsair AF140 LED Blue Chassis Fan
x1 Corsair AF120 LED Blue Chassis Fan
x1 4GB Corsair Vengeance Memory
My old Power Supply died so I had to get a new one and ended up splurging, but I am so glad I did. My other CPU Cooler worked great but it was way too loud and so massive that it would block one of my DIMM slots. Since I got he Noctua, I was finally able to install that last stick of RAM that has been sitting on the shelf for a while. Also, my old 120mm and 140mm LED case fans would rattle so I decided to replace them with Corsair's new LED Quiet Edition chassis fans. All in all, I couldn't be happier. My computer has never been this quite and I am now noticing the noise level other things in the room.
Thanks for looking,
JackALope
Someone's been busy. Good job!
Very nice JackALope, looks great
Sweet parts Doug, should look real nice, look forward to some pics of it together.
Here is a very small picture of my rig with the new EVGA Classified fitted and a shot of the card too.
Looking real good Paul. I went to fry's to pick up some fans but couldn't pass up the deal. One day I will get an Asus though.
