    Yes mate, pretty darn low!

It's pretty cold in the cabin this morning Drew so the temps are very low. Last night with the heating on full the temps settled at around 29C average for each core at idle. The hottest it has gone so far was 55C after running 3D Mark.
I was proper shocked @ how low the voltage drop's My electric bill will go down a bit now lol

Nice temp's you got there too chap
I've not put any stress on it yet except a 30 sec run of RB2's encoding test just to see what voltage was applied. Just browsing and playing tunes though my temp's are 24-28c with an ambient of 22c. I'm itching to run some benches but wanna wait untill my psu arrives so I've not even installed any.

It sounds like all your psu problems are down to the low voltage mate, you could just turn speedstep off and run a fixed voltage of say 1.15v until you try the other psu.

Yeah it seems that way chap, I don't want to be messing yet so I'll just wait until the other psu comes.
I have been going into the bios and just mooching though just to familurize myself with it a bit. The psu should be here tomorrow hopefully.

    OK, that explains it.

For comparisons, my ambient room temp is around 23; however, my Haswell core temps are around 30

However, I've only got my H100i cooler fans running around 400RPM for quietness...

I replaced the stock fans with Corsair’s Air Series SP120 PWM Quiet Edition fans, because the stock ones were loud. These can get somewhat loud too which is why I keep them at a low setting; especially since I'm not overclocking yet.

Anyway I was just amazed at how low your temps were.

    Thanks.

Yeah, it can be freezing out here first thing in the morning Drew, I have had temps of 0C before. But my normal idle temps with a regular room temp are pretty much the same as yours.

I took another pic, still an awful picture! But I changed the color of the case lighting to a shade of blue to make all the components blend in with each other a little better. It looks considerably better in real life. My camera on my phone struggles to show any clarity, but you get the idea.

Oh my God it does have wires :) - At least the photo shows off the clean wire management.

And man it must get pretty cold there for the CPU to hit 0

Thanks Guys, the camera does not pick up the shade of blue correctly, it is nowhere near as blue in real life, a lot paler, but it blends the color of all the components better than just having the led's White.
