im wiping my HDD and installing windows again, figured id just start from scratch. i hope my mobo is NOT broken. ill be pissed if it was. i know the voltage my CPU should be stable at. but since this is a new one, it should still be around that 1.457v mark give or take an offset.

im not hating intel, i think they are way better than AMD. but all i do is game and edit videos. my 6350 is perfect for that.

So why do you need to overclock it then? It must be fine for that at stock?

Mine was fine until I overclocked it, then I wrecked everything.

bragging rights, and less frame dips in bf3 and other cpu intensive games. im only going to OC to 4.4 this time regardless of board

But what if you can't get to 4.4?
