Thanks. Man I need 1.340V or so at 4500.

Or that's what it runs anyway.
Is this on a 3770K , a 4770K, a 2550K or something else? I have to ask cos I never know what CPU you are talking about and I bet you don't half the time either LOL.

True, true, it's the 3770K, I'm not fooling with Haswell anymore.

That is pretty high voltage for 4.5GHz then, my original one which was the worst for voltage out of the 3, that needed 1.280V for 4.6GHz, I ran that as a daily OC for over a year.
Edit: I say pretty high voltage, it's not awful, but not great. It's the luck of the draw on chips and I guess the one you got is not the best. I hear some struggle and some are great, you didn't get the worst, but it's far from the best.

Did you use Manual Vcore or offset? I'm using a offset of +0.050V.

On my daily I always use offset. How much varies immensely depending on the chip and motherboard, no 2 are the same.
For example if you are using an offset of +0.050V and you are getting 1.340V , I can tell you now mine using the same +0.050V offset will actually be running 1.176V.
It makes no difference to stability whether you are running offset or not, if at 4.5GHz you need 1.340V to be stable you need 1.340V
Bed time for me, catch ye tomorrow :)

right now my voltage is sitting pretty with a offset of 0.120 1.292 volts but when I run CPUZ it goes to 1.272
still solid voltages though and my temps are cool 24c-52c under load when I ran IBT I was in the mid to high 70s on a 4.8 OC that 920 Khuler did some wonders

Gary, is your LLC still set on Extreme?

Thanks Paul, the 2550K can run lower, I think the wife will get this 3770K, she doesn't overclock or do anything stressful.
Kelly, no I switched it to Ultra. I have yet to work through the whole overclock guide on OCN, but most of my settings are like they recommend.
