I was stuck at 4.9xxGHz for a few months before I finally got above 5.0GHz........but I finally did it. I was only using the BIOS and I was happy that I broke 5GHz so that's where I stopped.

Ralph you might try raising the FSB and lowering the RAM frequency some. If possible try getting the QPI link closer to 2000.
Ok my motherboard simply wont allow any higher than this. Theoretically this should be a 5 as I set the bus to 200 and multi 20 25x but what can you do? CPU-Z Validator 4.0 Of course I know what you're going to say, move the bus to 201 and you will get 5020, but it wasn't having it, would not boot no matter what. I had the cpu voltage on [+.300] I don't 2 places higher and the numbers turn redI am officially done OCing this chip and this mobo, so you can put this in Paul without worries of me coming back with a higher score. I plan to upgrade my rig in the upcoming months....Christmas...I am an Aquarius so I will save up the money to do it. I am very happy that I was able to push this mobo and cpu this far.
CPU-Z Validator 4.0
This is my green zone score guys, can someone please remove the above post, I tried editing it but it kept going back to my old score
A few weeks ago I read this article and in it, the guy had the same mobo as me and he said to raise the CPU PLL to stabilize. That option is mostly useless for most mobos from what I hear, but on this one, I raised it this last go and ...well It worked.
