It works better to use only one temp monitoring tool as one time. More can conflict with each other.

OK which temp monitoring tool would you guys suggest I use? Core temp is usually running in the tray and there is a gadget on the screen top right (did not show up in the screen capture). Not looking to bust a gut here but 4Gh seems to be working OK. Only when I thrash it with Prime 95 do we get those temps (obviously). Ambient temp is 71F 21C and currently idle playing Winamp CPU on core temp is 23C Package is 22C 73F and CPU temp on CPUID Monitor is 40C 104F.
Thanks for your help Gary and Ryan. I am a total NOOOOOOOOB when it comes to overclocking you guys have probably worked that out in any case

Core temp is good. Prime will put a heavy load on it, you wont see that type of load under normal use. Looks like a good OC

I myself use aida64 because I own a Logitech G-19 keyboard and I customized my LCD to show load and voltages ( will show pics) and I also use HWINFO64 Program as it seems to get the best readings, double checked with k type thermocouple sensors. Here is how I set my my aida64 LCD screen. You can cycle between 4 screens, but I only got 2 done so far. I made it as simple as possible.

This is truely awesome to use the display on the keyboard to show the info. Is this easy to do. Must see if Santa can bring me one of those keyboards ......I am repping you for the hard work you have done on the over clocking site. Well Done

Tried everything I can, this chip just does NOT like the 5000ghz setting. I upped the voltage +1 over what is on the 4.9 OC and that did not do it, I just don't know what else I can do, perhaps I have reached the limit of this chip.

Yes, it can be quite frustrating, I hit the wall at 5.2 but I don`t understand that at all, others have gone higher with the same combo, so I`m not giving up yet
